Comments about Nike Flyknit Racer Racing Shoe:

The Flyknit Racer is by far my favorite shoe out of the Flyknit series. Keep in mind I wear these shoes on casual occassions rather than for sports/running.
I like how the shoe has a sleek, slim profile. It's extremely lightweight and it's very breathable. Feels like you're walking on clouds!

Comments about Mens Brooks PureConnect 3 Running Shoe:

I bought the PureConnect 2 last year to be my main shoe for speedwork and race days. Before my purchase, I had some misgivings after friends said that the PC2 was too narrow. While it did pinch in spots, I generally found it comfortable. I didn't like its drop or the lacing, as they compromised comfort. But I tolerated it. I used it for a marathon, a half marathon, and many shorter races, in addition to regular temp runs. I wore it out.

When looking for another lightweight speed/racing shoe, I decided to gamble on the PureConnect 3. It makes the PC2 look like a piker in comparison. It is far more comfortable. When I put my foot in the first time, it practically clicked in place. The shoe laced up comfortably. Once I started running, I felt properly cushioned and stabilized. Even the hardest surface--concrete--wasn't too jarring. The room in the toe box was perfect.

I've had this pair only a couple of weeks, and have used them for only a couple runs: a hill repeat workout and 800m intervals. Both felt like a dream. I'm sure I'll wear out this pair long before the marathon I'm running in January. It will be worth it to buy another pair for the race.

Comments about Mens Newton Running Sir Isaac S Running Shoe:

I'm a heavier runner and I tend to be a midfoot / forefoot striker. As a result, I've been battling a lot of injuries for the last 8 years. My Physical Therapist mentioned this shoe as I finished my last round of PT, and it has made a world of difference for me. This shoe compensates for my natural tendency to run "up on my toes", allowing me to do so without injuring myself. I'm back to running now and am enjoying myself more than ever. Totally a game changer for me. Slightly higher cost is more than offset by improved durability. Total winner.

            Men's Barefoot Running Shoes

Looking to run in a new direction? Barefoot running might be your answer. Barefoot running shoes are designed to increase strength, speed, and reduce risk of injuries while helping you achieve your optimal running stride. Advocates of barefoot running strongly believe the "less is more" philosophy. The aim of barefoot running shoes is to mimic the feeling of running barefoot and allow your feet, ankles and legs to work the way they were naturally designed. In general barefoot running shoes have a flatter profile (lower heel-to-toe drop) encouraging you to land on your forefoot and dramatically decrease the force of impact. You'll get better body alignment, a more efficient stride, stronger feet and legs, and more fun runs!

For your most natural, stripped down running experience, choose Barefoot Ride shoes. These are the most minimal of barefoot running shoes putting as little as possible between your foot and the ground. With a heel-to-toe drop of 4mm or less these shoes are the closest thing to running completely barefoot (but, WAY more comfortable).

Looking for a tad more cushioning, but still want that natural feeling? Choose from our selection of Minimalist Ride shoes. These low-profile minimalist running shoes serve up a slightly higher heel-to-toe drop (4 to 7mm) than Barefoot Ride shoes, but still allow your feet to move and flex naturally so your body remains in-tune with the ground.

Want an easy transition into the whole barefoot running thing? Take a look at our super selection of Lightweight Ride running shoes. Perfect for race days and tempo training runs, these feathery, lightweight running shoes offer you the familiar feel of the standard heel-to-toe drop you find in more traditional running shoes (7mm and above). You'll generally get a little more cushioning than a minimalist running shoe or barefoot running shoe, but you'll speed up your run thanks to lighter materials than those found in traditional running shoes.
